Samantha’s Story
Born and raised in Edmonton, AB, was just the beginning.
Life is full of choices, and the biggest one I made was leaving my hometown and my work in the family business in 2016.
Growing up, I spent my summers at the Shuswap — something that later supported my first big move to Vancouver, BC. I always felt there was more to life, more to grow from and experience.
Eventually, I sold everything, packed two suitcases, and moved to Europe — not only once, but twice — living in the Netherlands and more recently in Portugal alongside my horse and two dogs.
Writing a book was always a dream of mine. I just needed something to write about. So, life happened for me.
Through childhood experiences, heartbreak, and travel, I began writing Dear You letters in my journals. Writing within the space of my own healing became a way to reconnect with my truth — a place to express, to process, and to trust the unfolding of life as it is.
I’m a reflective writer, a deep transformational coach, and a yoga teacher — translating lived experience into words as a way to move through and understand life.
I follow my intuition, listen to my body, and move through life as a spiritual being — exploring all depths of life.
Some of the most meaningful moments are the simplest — slow mornings, coffee in hand, bare feet on the grass or in the sand. You’ll often find me near water, watching the sunset, or simply being with my animals — walking and talking with my horse, being with my dogs, and spending time in nature.
My favourite place to be is at the barn or on the yoga mat. These have become my greatest teachers — my own school of life — where connection brings me back into my heart, into being.
And through it all, I gently invite you to do the same: to listen to your body, follow your heart, and reconnect with the truth within you.
To slow down, breathe, and to choose yourself.
