Redefining What Quitting Means
I believe we’re allowed to quit and begin again as many times as it takes.
If you’ve been feeling like quitting a job, a relationship, a dream, or a routine you’ve outgrown, this is for you.
Maybe this is your permission to walk away from what no longer aligns with you and to give yourself a fresh start.
Quitting is not failure. You don’t have to force yourself to stay in a job, a relationship, or a dream that no longer is the dream. You don’t need to prove anything to anyone.
When something no longer aligns, or feels good to you, listen. Listen to your body. You are allowed to walk away, remove yourself and change course at any time.
Quitting doesn’t mean you’re a bad person, or that you don’t care. You’re just redefining what matters to you and what truly aligns with you. Quitting doesn’t define your worthiness.
I’ve quit so many things, yet I’m not a quitter. I keep going at my own pace, in my own time, and in my own way.
If you know there’s something better for you, quitting creates space for your new story to begin. So choose yourself. Try something new. Take a new direction. Maybe it’s time to redefine what quitting means to you.❤️✨
This is a reflection inspired by one of my letters, in my book, In The Space of Healing, called You’re Allowed to Quit.
