Choices

Sometimes you have a choice. And you get to decide to change your life in some way. Things align and work out for you. For once it might seem easy, let it.

But other times the choice was made for you. One you didn’t see coming. One that changes your life forever. Unexpected. Heavy. That’s hard. How do you put words into what happened? Maybe you don’t.

Maybe you walk into the change blindly, trusting that you’ll be okay, and you will find your way forward on this new path. That as much as life feels like it’s happening to you - punishing you, that life is really happening for you?

Somehow, someway you find acceptance from what once was, to what it is now. And a choice to keep going. Things will align for you, even though this wasn’t your choice, even though it’s going to take longer.

It may not be what you imagined, or the place you saw yourself being in, but somehow it will bring you back to who you are, and to where your meant to go. Trust can be broken in a second, and takes a lifetime to rebuild. Perhaps, the trust this time, brings you back to you. Trust the worst is over, and that the good is still being returned to you.

Whatever you are going through, the choices that you got make and the ones that were made for you, remember to keep choosing yourself through it all. 💛🌻
